This is perfect class to get you out on the floor and dancing in just one hour and best of all it's included with admission. From 8pm - 9pm each Friday in the grand ballroom we'll take you through the basic steps and throw in a few cool moves to make your evening of dancing fun. This is a social class and has the option of rotating partners. No partner is needed.
Two tracks and lots of great classes! Either join us for a Beginning Lindy Hop Boot Camp with Ron and Jeanne, or work on moving beyond Intermediate Lindy Hop with Peter and Audrey.
For beginning dancers, learn the basics of Lindy Hop and get started on this great dance. If you're already familiar with the basics, Peter and Audrey will be challenging you with some exciting ideas, movements and ways of thinking about the dance and the music.
The workshop is only $40 pre-registered or $45 at the door. Register now along with a March series class for only $85 until March 5th, or with two March series classes for only $105. The Boot Camp and Beginning Lindy Hop series go great together. The Intermediate Lindy Hop Workshop, Swing Mechanics and Mix and Match classes match up great.
We're excited to bring back the Kid and Nic Show. They are a great swing and jump blues band from LA! Kid and Nic put on a great show and are awesome to dance to. We're looking forward to having them back on the Midtown Stomp stage.
The Kid and Nic Show has performed regularly from the House of Blues stage in Hollywood to clubs, casinos, theaters, festivals and special events across the country. Past tours have taken the show to over 15 states. The Kid and Nic Show has been featured on The Discovery Channel, The Food Networks Bobby Flay's Food Nation, as well as morning news shows in Minnesota, South Dakota, Nevada and Arizona. Their story has also been told in periodicals across the nation. Kid and Nic's latest release "Nothin' But A Good Time" is enjoying regular rotation on radio stations across the country. Kid and Nic take their audiences on a trip across the landscape of American music and comedy for a show that provides a lot of laughs, memorable tunes and a genuine feeling of joy!
