Upcoming Classes
Midtown Stomp is the place to learn to swing dance. We have some great classes coming up in the new year for all levels, and a great special for anyone signing up for January and February. Burn off those holiday calories and have a great time doing it.
If you're looking to learn Lindy Hop, the "Beginning Lindy Hop Class" is the place for you! We offer this series each month from 8-9pm.

February Classes
February classes are February 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th, except for the Stretch Your Dancing to the Max series (click class for more details!). We're continuing the extremely successful Intermediate level Mix and Match topics in February. We are also offering Beginning Balboa at 7pm.
We will be having a special Intro to Balboa class on February 5th at 7pm that will $10 plus admission, or included with the Stretch Your Dancing to the Max series if purchasing all 4 weeks.

If you're new to Swing dancing or just want to brush up on your basics we've got the class for you! During this four week series class we’ll teach you the basic moves of our favorite dances that will get you comfortable dancing on the floor. No partner is needed but if you have one it's no problem!
Beginning Balboa
Instructors: Kelli Wilkerson and Pat Wall
Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Balboa is a fun dance that came out of LA in the 20's and 30's. This dance is primarily done in closed position and we'll be giving students a great Balboa foundation in February.

Learn to Swing Dance! This class is offered every week from 8-9pm and is included in the price of admission. This is the way to get out on the dance floor for the first time, or brush up on your east coast swing basics. These lessons will give you a simple 6-count basic and teach you the basic turns. Each week, we'll also present some additional content to give you some more things to work on and play with in your dancing.

Stretching Your Dance to the Max

Stretch Your Dancing to the Max

We're excited to have guest instructor Peter Vawter, two time American Lindy Hop Champion, teaching at Midtown Stomp in February and March. Peter and Audrey will be bringing you a great series on Stretching Your Dance to the Max! You must comfortable with the basics of Lindy Hop and be excited about stretching your dancing to the next level!
This series will be three weeks starting on February 12th. Classes will be on the 12th, 19th and 26th. Students may sign up for all four weeks and take the Intro to Balboa class on Feburary 5th, or just the Stretching Your Dance to the Max series for 3 weeks.

Mix and Match

Instructors: Peter Vawter, Ron Thompson, Jeanne Jacobson and Audrey Womack
Time: 8:00 - 9:00pm
Mix and Match classes are back with great intermediate topics each week for you to expand your dancing and have more fun on the dance floor! In February, we feature Peter Vawter, a Sacramento native who has been performing for Universal Studios in Osaka, Japan for the last several years. He is an American Lindy Hop Champion and a great instructor.
Mix and Match classes are available each week for drop-in for $10 plus admission.
