West Coast Swing

West Coast Swing at Midtown Stomp About twice a month, on Friday nights, Midtown Stomp opens a second room for West Coast Swing and brings you some of the best teachers and DJs in Northern California. We still offer the vintage swing dances (East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, etc.) upstairs and always have a beginning drop-in class upstairs including East Coast Swing.

West Coast Swing is a more modern dance done to a variety of types of music including blues, pop and hip hop. The movement and feel are a bit different but it is fundamentally still a swing dance done to different music. It's great fun! If you have not been to Midtown Stomp before we recommend starting with the upstairs East Coast Swing beginning drop-in class.

Two Rooms of Dancing Options:

1) Two Rooms of Dancing Plus WCS Class from 6:30pm-8:30pm - $18/22 (DJ/Band)

2) Two Rooms of Dancing with Beginning ECS Drop-in Class Upstairs - $8/12 (DJ/Band)(no additional charge)

3) WCS Dancing Downstairs only - $8
